UAW Local 961 building catches fire on Detroit's east side

United Auto Workers Local 961's building went up in flames Wednesday night at Lynch Road and Van Dyke Avenue on Detroit's east side.

DETROIT -

United Auto Workers Local 961's building went up in flames Wednesday night at Lynch Road and Van Dyke Avenue on Detroit's east side.

Detroit firefighters were able to douse the flames but not before heavy damage was done.

No injuries have been reported.

A Local 4 viewer sent the attached photo of the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
