ROSEVILLE, Mich. -

A semi truck struck a utility pole Monday near Gratiot Avenue and Martin Road in Roseville, knocking down power lines and temporarily trapping the truck driver in the cabin.

DTE Energy workers helped get the driver out safely. He was not injured.

The pole, which is behind a business on Gratiot Avenue, appears to be cracked toward the base. The lines fell over the truck.

DTE crews are working to fix it.

A similar situation happened Friday when a semi truck hit a wire behind the Arby's restaurant near 9 Mile Road and Harper Avenue in St. Clair Shores. No one was injured in that accident.
