DETROIT – The Detroit Tigers have unveiled plans to renovate the "Pepsi Porch" area of Comerica Park for the upcoming season.

The $4 million project will include adding 426 new seats, new furniture and adding fire features. A new bar, "The New Amsterdam 416," is also being brought in.

Tigers Duane McLean, executive vice president of business operations, said the new bar will create a "unique social setting with a relaxed outdoor environment."

"The new-look right field deck area is open to all fans and will offer an enhanced entertainment value with spectacular field views and increased amenities," McLean added.

Meanwhile, the Tigers are in Lakeland, Fla. as spring training gets underway. They reported to Lakeland on Thursday. Below a picture of the team taking the field in Florida.
