NEW ORLEANS -

Forget about a little water or some sand, PGA golfers dealt with a real hazard -- a three-legged alligator.

Golfers at the Zurich Classic in New Orleans first started seeing several gators coming out of the surrounding lakes.

Eventually, a unique gator emerged, walking through sand traps and eventually slithering onto the fairway. Fans and golfers stopped to take pictures after noticing the gator only had three legs.

Staff members at the Zurich Classic followed the gator on golf carts until it finally moved away from golfers and fans.
