Thief smashes way into Ypsilanti Township gas station, gets away with cigarettes

YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP, Mich. -

The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in tracking down a cigarette thief.

During the early-morning hours of July 21, the person in the surveillance picture used a piece of concrete to smash their way into the Citgo gas station on Holmes Road. They then stole cigarettes before fleeing.

Anyone with information on the person in the picture is asked to call the Washtenaw County Sheriff Office's confidential 734- 973-7711 or 1-800-SPEAK UP.
