Teens alert St. Clair Shores school about threatening tweet

Tweet mentioned planting explosives at South Lake High School

ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. – Two teens are being praised by South Lake High School leaders for alerting administration Wednesday about a threatening tweet.

The message, from someone (@JohnnyJermani) who does not attend the school, mentioned planting explosives on the high school campus.

Two students saw the tweet and told school leaders who then called police.

The school was searched and nothing threatening was found.

St. Clair Shores police are working to determine who sent the tweet.
