DETROIT -

A 15-year-old boy is in the hospital with serious injuries after getting hit by a motorcycle that was drag racing.

Pictures captured Asharf Almansoob being treated moments after being struck by an out of control motorcycle.

Local 4 cameras were at the scene Tuesday evening shortly after the incident occurred. Almansoob was frightened, banged up and barely able to speak. His brother couldn't believe what was happening.

Witnesses and police told Local 4 Defenders two guys on motorcycles were drag racing, going more than 100 mph down Lonyo Street. One driver lost control of his bike, striking then landing on Almansoob, who was crossing the street in front of his family's home.

The teenage victim and the 28-year-old driver on one of the motorcycles were rushed to the hospital. According to investigators, the guy on the other bike took off.
