DETROIT -

A vehicle suspected of being involved in a hit-and-run accident that killed two well-known Detroit men -- "Eat Em Up Tigers guy" James Van Horn and Michael Alston a.k.a. "Dreadlock Mike" -- has been found.

The vehicle, a white Cadillac, was found near Interstate 75 and Lawton Street. Detroit police have had it impounded.

The two men were killed early Saturday morning when they were hit by a car on Gratiot Avenue near Russell.

Van Horn and Alston were fixtures outside Detroit sporting events. Tigers, Lions and Red Wings all have been mourning the loss.

Detroit police are still looking for a second vehicle -- a black Dodge Avenger. Police say the Dodge was the first vehicle to hit the men, followed by the Cadillac. Police are calling the Dodge the primary vehicle.

"We believe if this is the vehicle involved that it could help us locate who was responsible for this horrific crash," said Scott Sheets, of the Detroit police. "We're still looking for a black colored Dodge Avenger which may also be involved in this crash. We believe that there were two vehicles potential involved, close to the same time."

Police do not have any suspects in custody.
