Sunday is Flower Day at Eastern Market

DETROIT -

This weekend is the 47th year farmers and growers have filled Eastern Market with flowers for sale to the public.

Hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Master Gardeners with the Michigan State University Extension Center will be on hand to answer gardening questions from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The weather is expected to cooperate with a high around 80 on Sunday and no rain in the forecast.
