Winter Storm Maximus coats most of Lower Michigan in wet snow, rain

Several snow emergencies have been issued across SE Michigan.

This means parking is restricted on city streets so they can be cleared.

Oakland County:

Auburn Hills: Effective Saturday at 8:00 a.m. -- expired Sunday at 1:30 p.m.

Birmingham: Effective Saturday at 10:00 p.m. --no expiration time given

Clawson: Effective Saturday at 12:00 p.m. -- no expiration time given

Ferndale: Effective Saturday at 11:30 a.m. -- expired Sunday at 1:00 p.m.

Madison Heights: Effective Saturday at 8:00 p.m. -- no expiration time given

Oak Park: Effective Saturday at 3:00 p.m. -- no expiration time given

Royal Oak: Effective Saturday at 1:00 p.m. -- no expiration time given

South Lyon: Effective Saturday at 2:00 a.m. -- expired Sunday at 1:00 p.m.

Macomb County:

Shelby Township: Effective Sunday -- expires Monday at 8:00 a.m.

Sterling Heights: Effective Saturday at 10 p.m. -- no expiration given

St. Clair Shores: Effective Saturday -- expires Monday at 6:00 p.m.

Warren: Effective Saturday at noon -- no expiration time given

Wayne County:
