Roseville police find witness to fatal motorcycle crash

Motorcyclist killed at 12 Mile, Utica roads

ROSEVILLE, Mich. – Roseville police had been asking a witness to a fatal motorcycle accident on Thursday to come forward.

The witness did come forward Friday afternoon. Police said the witness was advised by friends who heard about law enforcement's request from the media.

The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. at 12 Mile and Utica roads. Police said a man was killed when his motorcycle hit another car. The victim's name has not yet been released.  

Police said they were specifically looking for the driver of a burnt orange two-door Jeep Wrangler with a black hard top who was stopped at 12 Mile and Utica roads when the crash happened. The Jeep driver contacted the Roseville Police Department on Friday, police said.
