Police need help identifying man who assaulted, kidnapped woman

REDFORD, Mich. -

Redford police need your help after a woman was assaulted and forced into a car at a Marathon gas station on Telegraph and Schoolcraft.

Just before 5 a.m. on Sunday, the man and woman walked into the gas station. Police say the woman asked the clerk to call police. While the clerk was calling police, the man began assaulting the female and then dragged her out of the store and forced her into a white Chevrolet Malibu.

The car was last seen driving north on Telegraph.

The incident was captured on store surveillance. Police want to identify the pair seen so they can make sure the woman is okay.

If anyone has any information please contact Redford Police at 313-387-2555.
