Rallies organized in Detroit, Pontiac part of national protest of Zimmerman verdict

DETROIT -

Protesters took part in the national 100-City Justice for Trayvon vigil in Detroit on Saturday.

Martin's parents Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin along with the Rev. Al Sharpton attended separate vigils in New York and Florida.

George Zimmerman was found not guilty in the fatal shooting of Martin, age 17, last Saturday.

A rally was also held in Pontiac at the 50th District Court building.
