REDFORD, Mich. -

It’s a fire that’s been seared into our memory. Flames so big, they took everything with it. While lives were spared at the Jason Manor Apartment fire, the people who once called the complex home helplessly watched as their clothes, photos and belongings turned to char and ash.

“Everything, everything, everything I own, everything I’ve got is gone,” said 22 year Amber Mickles, who was rescued by Detroit Fire Fighters.

Now it’s time to pick up the pieces. Today Radio One is teaming up with St. Vincent DePaul for a 12 hour radio-thon at The Villa Store in Redford. The goal, help the Jason Complex fire victims. Everything from clothes to furniture are needed.
