ROSEVILLE, Mich. – The public will have a chance to give their respects to a newborn boy whose body was found at a recycling center.
The boy, named Henry Alexander by the community, will lie in state Tuesday, March 10, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Kaul Funeral Home on Gratiot Avenue in Roseville. The public is welcome.

A funeral service will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Resurrection Cemetery, 18201 Clinton River Road, Clinton Township.
Anyone wishing to attend the funeral service is asked to arrive at the main cemetery gate on Clinton River Road by 10:30 am. Once all interested participants have arrived, a short precession shall take place to where Henry will be laid to rest.
What happened
Police said Angela Alexie gave birth to the boy in a garage in Eastpointe on Dec. 22 and abandoned the baby. It died two days from exposure to cold weather. The body was found at a recycling center in nearby Roseville on Jan. 14.
The defense argues that Alexie tried to keep the baby warm with blankets and attempted to breastfeed the child, but was unsuccessful. Her trial begins this month.
