SOUTH LYON, Mich. -

A section of Pontiac Trail has been closed off between 11 Mile and Silver Lake Roads in Lyon Township and South Lyon for an emergency pole replacement.

The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has given AT&T permission to close Pontiac Trail in order to repair the problem.

The road was closed earlier Monday due to the AT&T pole leaning over it.

The detour route for traffic during this closure is 11 Mile Road to Martindale Road to Pontiac Trail and vice versa.

The closed section of Pontiac Trail is expected to re-open sometime Tuesday morning.
