Man wanted for armed robbery ID'd

Waterford police have issued a warrant for suspect in Boost Mobile store robbery.

WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Zachery Baker has been identified as the individual that entered the Boost Mobile cellular phone store on Feb. 14 and announced a holdup, Waterford police said.

According to police, as Baker entered the cell phone store, he produced a handgun and forced the owner to the rear of the business. Zachery zip tied the owner to the bathroom sink and emptied out the cash register. He then fled out the rear of the business and ran west toward the Pine Lake Apartments.

Baker is believed to have been with his stepfather Richard Scott Morris and driving a 2002 black Dodge Durango with handicap license plate number 6347G3.

A warrant for armed robbery has been issued for Zachery Baker.

Both individuals are considered to be armed and dangerous.
