Detroit police continue to investigate the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old girl Sunday on the city's west side.
The girl was shot in front of her house on Oakman Boulevard. Police discovered her body on the front lawn of the home.
Police have been questioning the victim's boyfriend and say her 4-year-old brother witnessed the shooting.
Neighbors say the shooting is just another example of slow police response in the city.
Police took the 4-year-old boy to a safe location in protective custody to speak with psychologists about what happened at the home.
