YPSILANTI, Mich. – Ypsilanti police are investigating after an Eastern Michigan University student reported having a gun pointed at him by a group of men who were making fun of his pants.
In a statement, police said the incident happened Wednesday afternoon just south of campus at Emmet and Normal streets.

Police said the victim told them he was walking when a black sedan with three men in it pulled up next to him.
The men rolled down the windows and made comments about the victim's pants, police said.
When the victim exchanged words with the men, one of the passengers in the back of the car pointed a black or silver handgun at him, police said.
The victim walked away and was unharmed.
Police said the victim described the men in the car as black, in their early 20s, average heights and thin builds. One of them was wearing a blue and yellow striped jacket.
The car the men were in had heavy front-end damage and was missing a rear bumper.
