A Rochester Hills family had an early morning surprise when a man walked into their home at 4 a.m.

The homeowners called police to report a man had broken into their home on Clovelly Avenue.

They told police the man was looking into their windows and then entered the home.

A family member, armed with a revolver, chased the man away.

Police arrived and the man was arrested.

The 23-year-old suspect was allegedly drunk and entered the wrong house on the wrong street in his neighborhood, police say.

He is now currently being lodged at Oakland County Jail pending further charges
