ROSEVILLE, Mich. -

Emagine Entertainment is moving forward with plans for a multi-screen theater in Roseville, at the site of a former Kmart.

The company has submitted a site plan and other documents for the theater on 13 Mile Road near Little Mack.

The $20 million project will involve a 15-screen theater with more than 3,100 seats.  The largest theater will feature a screen 50 feet high and 84 feet wide, the largest screen in Michigan.

If all goes as planned, demolition of the old Kmart store could take place early in 2014 and construction of the theater would be afterward.
