Pictures of bank robbers in Independence Township released

INDEPENDENCE TOWNSHIP, Mich. -

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in tracking down two bank robbers.

The office has released pictures of two men who wore masks and hooded sweatshirts as they robbed the Oxford Bank on Ortonville Road in Independence Township on Monday.

One of them had a handgun.

No one was hurt but they got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Oakland County Sheriff's Office at 248-858-5000.
