Man shot in Lyon Township; Oakland County Sheriff's Office search for gunman

LYON TOWNSHIP, Mich. -

A man was shot early Thursday morning at an apartment complex in Lyon Township.

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office tells Local 4 the shooting happened just after 6 a.m. on Pendleton Street, which is near Grand River Avenue and Milford Road.

Deputies said the victim was leaving his apartment when he was confronted by his ex-wife and some friends.

A fight ensued and the victim was shot in the leg by someone in the group.

Investigators are looking for the gunman and have put out a BOL on a Mercedes-Benz S500 with the license plate BFF 1313.
