North American Bicycle Week begins on Thursday, March 27 and lasts until Sunday, March 30. Below is a list of events for Bicycle Week participants:

Thursday

6 p.m. Windsor NoAm Launch: Location TBA, followed by Mixer

6 p.m. Palmer Park Ride: Palmer Park, Detroit

7 p.m. Detroit NoAm Launch: Boll Family YMCA, Detroit, presentations include Focus Hype - Tom Josaltis; The first 40 years of bicycling in Detroit - Todd Scott, Detroit Greenways Coalition; City cycling: Selling to a new urban bicycling market - Mikey Bennington, Toronto Cycling Think and Do Tank.

Friday

9 a.m. PEAC Ride: Boll Family YMCA

11 a.m. Farmada Free Ride: Hart Plaza

1 p.m. - 5 p.m. Demo Day: Eastern Market, Detroit, 1 p.m. Trek Presentation

1 p.m. - 5 p.m. Brush Park BMX: Brush Park, Detroit; Red Bull MXT Truck, 2 p.m. demo and 4 p.m. demo

3:30 p.m. Basic Mechanic Class: The Hub, Back Alley Bikes

6:30 p.m. Critical Mass, Tweed Edition: Corner of Trumbull and Warren Avenue, Detroit

9 p.m. Tweed City Charity Party: Cobo Center, City View Room

Saturday

10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Feeder Ride: The annual spring training ride: 15 miles (DetroitSynergy.org)

10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Detroit Bike City EXPO: Cobo Center, Wayne Hall, Detroit. Includes Mode shift seminar, so you want to be a bicycle advocate?, creating more urban cyclists, ask Dr. Nandi live show, Indro to cargo bikes, custom fittings by Rob West, Bike Shop Show: Live blog, Rise Above BMX team, 100+ vendors, swap section, custom builders, best in shows, Detroit Marketplace, shops, clubs, and more.

8 p.m. EXPO After Party - Suicide machines and guilty Simpson: Eastern Market, Shed 3, Stuck Lucky, Nashville, Rise Above BMX team, Red Bull MXT truck, vendors, food, drinks and more.

Sunday

11 a.m. Slow Roll Season Opener: Eastern Market, leaves at 11:30 a.m. sharp

1 p.m. - 6 p.m. Slow Roll After Party and Demo Day: Eastern Market, vendors, food trucks, drinks, Red Bull MXT truck, demos and more.
