The event is at 3:30 p.m. and only those who already have tickets can attend. Canton Township handed them out on a first come, first serve basis.

However, people who still want to watch it can on ClickOnDetroit.com. Local 4 will live stream the entire event on its website.

Davis and White train at the Arctic Edge of Canton under coach Marina Zoeuva.

During their 17-year career, Davis and White became the first American ice dance team to win a World Championship, then did it again in 2013. They are also six-time U.S. National Champions, something no ice dance team has ever done before. They won the silver medal at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada in 2010 and just added the Olympic gold medal to their trophy case.

Davis and White have decided against competing in the World Championships later this month in Japan. They have not said whether they are done competing altogether. The two will do Stars on Ice, which will be at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit on April 27.
