Northbound Interstate 75 is closed at Livernois Avenue in southwest Detroit after shots were fired on the freeway.

DETROIT -

Northbound Interstate 75 has reopened at Livernois Avenue in southwest Detroit after shots were fired on the freeway.

Two cars were involved in a crash after the shots. A woman who appears to be in her 20s was shot. It's not clear if anyone else has been injured.

The woman has non-life-threatening injuries.

Michigan State Police are on scene. The interstate was closed for several hours while police investigated.
