Mount Clemens woman attacked during robbery at home

MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. – A 67-year-old woman was held down by three masked men in her Mount Clemens home during a robbery Tuesday night, according to the Macomb County Sheriff's Office.

In a statement, the office said the woman was arriving to her home on Court Street around 11:30 p.m. when the men confronted her and forced her inside. Two of the men were armed and threatened the woman while they ransacked the house.

The woman, Brenda Wilson, has spent nearly her whole life living in Mount Clemens.

"They laid the gun down. They tied me up. They got whatever they wanted out of the house -- clothes, all the Christmas stuff," she said.

The men stole clothes, jewelry and a DVD player -- putting it all in the victim's Cadillac before taking off with that, too.

The sheriff's office did not release detailed descriptions of the men, only that they were black and between 20 and 30 years old. One wore a yellow neoprene mask, the other two had black ones.
