Motorcyclist killed in crash on I-96 in Detroit

DETROIT -

A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday night when he collided into the back of a car on I-96 on Detroit’s west side.

Police said 67-year-old John Arthur Hill’s motorcycle crashed into the back of a Cadillac while he was going eastbound in the local lanes of I-96 between Evergreen Avenue and the Southfield Freeway.

Hill died.

Two people inside the Cadillac were treated for minor injuries.  

Police haven’t said what may have led Hill’s motorcycle to crash.

Any witnesses to the crash are asked to call Michigan State Police at 248-584-5740.
