The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man who, they say, on Wednesday robbed the Education Plus Credit Union on Sterns Road at Secor Road in Lambertville.

The Sheriff's Office says the man entered the credit union about 3:30 p.m. and pointed a black semi-automatic pistol at the tellers, demanding money.

He was given an undisclosed amount of cash before he fled the bank and the area in what is described as a dark colored car, which is either a Chevrolet Malibu or Impala, or something similar to those vehicles (pictured below).

The man is described as white, in his 20s and standing about 5 feet 10 inches or 6 feet tall. He had blond hair and scruffy facial hair. He was wearing a black wind breaker-type coat and a black baseball cap with lettering on the left side. He also was carrying a duffel bag which he put the cash in.

Anyone with information on this armed robbery or the man described is asked to contact the Monroe County Sheriff's Office at 734-240-7700.
