Michigan State Police trooper involved in Sunday accident

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. -

A Michigan State Police trooper was involved in a roadside accident at around 11:30 Saturday morning.

The incident occurred on eastbound I-696 near Greenfield in Southfield.

Both cars were damaged, and the police vehicle needed to be towed. There were no serious injuries to the trooper or the other members involved in the crash.
