Mayor to give snow removal plan for Detroit residential areas

DETROIT -

Mayor Mike Duggan will announce an update on the snow removal efforts in Detroit's residential side streets 9 a.m. Friday at the Russell-Ferry DPW Yard inside the maintenance garage.

Detroit's residential areas are made up of 1,880 miles of side streets.

The mayor also will announce a new process enabling residents to report any streets that were not plowed.
