Mayor Mike Duggan: The first six months

DETROIT – One year ago, Mike Duggan was still a write-in candidate after he was tossed from the ballot on a technicality. However, the veteran Wayne County politician won a surprisingly strong victory in the August primary and cruised to a comfortable win over Benny Napoleon to become Detroit's 75th mayor.
