MILFORD TWP., Mich. -

Maple Road in Milford Township reopened Thursday afternoon after part of the road collapsed earlier in the week.

The Road Commission for Oakland County shut down Maple Road just east of Childs Lake Road Tuesday to replace a collapsed drainage pipe.

Rain delayed the repairs on Wednesday, but the road commission said construction should be completed by 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Maple Road will briefly close again on Friday from 9 am - 2 pm to finish cleaning up debris.
