DETROIT – A 74-year-old man is in critical condition after being stabbed Thursday afternoon inside a barbershop on Detroit's west side.
The man was stabbed in the neck while sitting in a chair at Bang'n Blends on Grand River Avenue just east of the Southfield Freeway.
Detroit police are searching for the barber who is suspected of stabbing the man. The owner of the shop told Local 4 he fled the place after the attack.
The barber is described as a man in his 30s.
