DETROIT -

A man was shot dead Friday morning at a bank drive-thru on Detroit’s east side.

The victim was shot several times while his car was parked at a Charter One bank off East Warren near Outer Drive.

The victim’s pink BMW has several bullet holes in the windows.

Police are reviewing the bank's security camera footage.

They are also investigating whether another armed robbery that happened at a credit union at 7 Mile and Gratiot is connected.

The victim in that case is a retired Wayne County deputy.
