DETROIT – A house fire on Detroit's west side that claimed the life of a man Monday night has been ruled accidental.
According to the arson department, investigators determined that it was a cooking fire that broke out at the home on Ellsworth Street.
Firefighters pulled the victim from the house, but he was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
