Macomb Township man hit by pickup truck, dies

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. -

A 27-year-old man was killed Sunday night when he was hit by a pickup truck in Clinton Township.

Police said the victim, who is from Macomb Township, was hit at about 11 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Hall Road near Dalcoma Drive.

The driver of the white Chevrolet pickup, a 53-year-old man from St. Clair Shores, stayed at the scene.

The victim was rushed to a hospital, but died. His name hasn’t been released.

Police said alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the incident and haven’t said if any charges will be pursued.

Any witnesses are asked to call the Clinton Township Police Department, Lt. Green,  at 586-493-7932.
