3 Detroit men charged after string of home invasions in Livonia

LIVONIA, Mich. – Three Detroit men charged in a series of home invasions in Livonia will stand trial.

Desean Brooks, 21, Kevin Turner, 23, and Desmond Arnez Clark all face charges including home invasion, larceny, and receiving and concealing stolen property. Brooks is being charged as a habitual offender and Clark faces a fleeing and eluding charge.

They appeared in court on Monday for pre-trial hearings.

After one home invasion this past month, police said the three defendants led Livonia officers on a chase down Interstate 96 into Detroit, where they were arrested.

Their trial is scheduled for July. Meanwhile, they are being held at the Wayne County Jail.
