'Jersey Boys' to open America's Thanksgiving Parade

DETROIT – The Parade Company is pleased to announce that the Broadway sensation, JERSEY BOYS will kick-off the 89th America's Thanksgiving Parade® presented by Art Van.

The Tony, Grammy and Olivier award-winning musical will open this year's parade with a live performance from TV zone prior to the parade's travel down Woodward Avenue on Thanksgiving morning.

The JERSEY BOYS musical is the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi, a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks who became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sound and sold 175 million records worldwide - all before the age of thirty.
