If you’re looking to procure a home in Detroit, Mayor Mike Duggan has exciting news. On Monday, he will divulge information on the next round of homes set to be added to Detroit’s online home auction.

He’s also releasing specific details regarding home tours for interested bidders. So far, the program has been incredibly successful. Nearly 6,000 people are registered to place bids, and, thus far, a plethora of money has already been collected from the homes that have sold.

The goal of the eBay style auction is the sell the homes to individuals who are dedicated to fixing them for reoccupation.

One house goes on sale each day.
