Cheer up, Grumpy Cat. You've got an endorsement deal.
The feline Internet sensation, real name Tardar Sauce, is set to become the face of Friskies cat food in a deal announced Tuesday by Nestle Purina PetCare.
Terms of the agreement were not released.
A 1 1/2-year-old mixed-breed feline who became a household name after photos of her posted online went viral last year, Grumpy Cat also has a merchandise line and possibly a movie deal in the works.
She's reached more than 111,000 Twitter followers and has a Facebook page with more than 1.3 million "likes."
"She's very busy," Friskies spokeswoman Julie Catron told The Associated Press. "The first thing she'll do for us is receive the lifetime achievement award."
Grumpy Cat is own by Phoenix resident Tabatha Bundesen.
