ROYAL OAK, Mich. -

A construction crew caused a gas leak Thursday afternoon near Woodward Avenue and 11 Mile Road in Royal Oak.

Consumers Energy says a construction company hit a gas service line while doing some work at Woodward Avenue and Hendrie Boulevard.

There are no evacuations to homes and business and no road closures, except one lane on southbound Woodward Avenue.

Consumers Energy has a crew working to fix the leak.
