Funeral set for murdered Clinton Township store owner

A vigil was held Saturday afternoon for a party store owner who was shot and killed during a robbery Friday night.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. -

Funeral arrangements have been made for Basim Naim Sulaka, the Clinton Township party store owner who was shot and killed during a robbery Friday night..

Church services will take place at noon Wednesday at Mother of God Chaldean Catholic Church.

Interment will follow the church services at Holy Sepulchre, located on 10 Mile Road at Beech Road in Southfield.

Sulaka was killed March 28 at Moon Lite Party Store. Police say three gunmen burst in, ransacked the store and shot and killed Sulaka.

No arrests have been made at this time.

Crime Stoppers, along with some local businesses, are offering a $17,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. If you have information about this robbery you are asked to call the Clinton Township Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 800-SPEAK-UP.
