Farmington Hills investigating deadly house fire

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. -

A man has been found dead in a Detroit-area house that was destroyed by fire.

Farmington Hills police said the blaze was discovered around 10 p.m. Monday when family members went to check on the victim at his home on West Ten Mile Road.

Family members tried to get into the house to save the man, but were not able to.

Firefighters were able to pull the victim out, but he died at a hospital.

His name isn't yet being released.
