Families Against Narcotics holding special educational session in Detroit

DETROIT – The Michigan Osteopathic Association is holding a 4-hour segment on Friday dedicated to the education of their physicians regarding the prescription narcotic epidemic that is ravaging across the nation.

A number of very impressive, nationally-known experts will be speaking, including Special Agent Joseph T. Rannazzisi of the Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Agency in Washington, D.C.

Families Against Narcotics has developed and will moderate the program.

Members of FAN will be telling their own stories of dealing with family members with addictions and of losing loved ones- sons, daughters, mothers, siblings- to preventable drug overdoses.

Friday, May 16th from 8 a.m. until noon at Cobo Center in Detroit

It is part of MOA's Annual Scientific Conference which runs Wednesday through Saturday at Cobo Center.
