DTE Energy: 13,000 without power across SE Michigan

DETROIT – DTE Energy is reporting about 13,000 customers without power across southeast Michigan.

Spokeswoman Erica Donnerson said the outages are due to various equipment failures which may be related to the hot temperatures.

Crews are working to get the power back on. Power is expected to be restored for most customers by the end of the night.

DTE said the outages are scattered across their service area. DTE offers a power outage map to help customers track outages.
