DETROIT -

Detroit police are asking for the public’s help to find a man who they say is wanted for robbing a woman outside an apartment last fall.

Police said the suspect, 26-year-old Orthello Christmas, stole money and a cellphone at gunpoint from a woman on Nov. 7, 2013,  while she stood outside in the 400 block of Henry Street.

There is a felony warrant for armed robbery out against Christmas, and police said he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Police have released a picture of Christmas, and describe him as black, 5 feet 7 inches, 140-150 pounds, slim build with low-cut fade-styled hair.

Anyone with information on Christmas is asked to call Detroit police at 313-596-5810 or Crime Stoppers at 800-SPEAKUP.
