Detroit mayoral debate is underway

LIVE at 8 p.m.: Detroit mayoral candidates debate at public forum.

DETROIT -

On Tuesday night, the people of Detroit will get to hear from the men and women who want to be the next mayor.

All of the candidates are expected to participate in a debate at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History.

The debate is open to the public with seats available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The event starts at 8 p.m.
