A hearing for a Novi elementary school principal who is accused of being drunk on school property has been delayed.

Kim Warren was due in court Monday, but a new date was set for June 24.

Warren, who worked at Deerfield Elementary School, was arrested April 8 after returning to the school from lunch.

The 44-year-old is charged with having open intoxicants in a vehicle and a blood alcohol content of more than .17 percent. The legal limit is .08 percent.

She has since resigned.
