Troy, Mich. -

Troy police said a 44-year-old father was arrested Sunday night on accusations he was drunk driving with his 6-year-old son in the car.

Police said Tarique Raheen Parker, of Clawson, was pulled over on 14 Mile near Stephenson Highway after someone called to report his erratic driving.

Police said an officer observed Parker driving partially in the left and center lanes.

Parker failed sobriety tests and had a 0.16 on a breath test, police said.

His son, who had been in the front passenger seat, wasn't hurt and went home with his mother.

Parker is charged with operating while intoxicated with an occupant less than 16 years old.
